Saving games
Saving games in TimeScape can be quite helpful to gameplay. There are several places where your character can die. All of these, obviously, will end the game prematurely. If you save your games regularly, an accidental "death" won't have as significant an effect on you.
As a result, you should save games whenever you are about to enter a new area or try something that could have unknown results.
