2 of 5: You could try to be faster than him, or you could give him what he wants.
3 of 5: Which of these two options you should choose depends on what happened before.
4 of 5: If you know that Vlad already has the Rubayat or that you don't have the real necklace, you'd better give the notebook to Zeitel.
5 of 5: Otherwise, you could try to use your gas pen on Zeitel. Beware though, you will have a lot more work to go through during the timed endgame if you choose this option. And you have to go down those ladders again. So, I would advice you against it if you really don't have to.
