The Longest Journey Hints
How should I position the crystals?
1 of 9: Notice that there are three symbols on each crystal.
2 of 9: The altar has four slots where you can place the crystals, and each one of these slots has a symbol on it.
3 of 9: The symbols on the crystals are the same as the ones in front of each of the slots.
4 of 9: You need to match up the symbols on the crystals with the symbols on the slots themselves.
5 of 9: When you put a crystal in a slot, two of its three sides will be facing other slots. Make sure that the two sides facing the other slots have the same symbols as the slots they're facing. (You don't need to worry about what symbol is on the side facing away from the altar.)
6 of 9: Each crystal must go in one and only one of the slots.
7 of 9: The crystals will be numbered when you move the cursor over them in your inventory (but not when they're on the altar). If you want to know which crystal goes in which slot, read ahead.
