How do I get rid of the detective?
1 of 8: Talk to him.
2 of 8: If he tells you to leave, keep talking to him until he runs out of things to say.
3 of 8: But he won't just go away -- you have to find a way to "force" him out of there.
5 of 8: Just giving him some candy isn't going to get rid of him, though. You need to find something to do to the candy.
6 of 8: Maybe you could poison it?
7 of 8: You can find some nasty ooze under the trash bin. Just push the bin out of the way, and then put the candy in the ooze.
8 of 8: If the detective won't take the candy, make sure you've gone over all the possible dialogue choices with him. He'll take the candy after you've talked to him enough.
