What's the meaning of the stuff that's on the videotape?

  • 1 of 16: Have you watched it carefully several times?
  • 2 of 16: Does anything on the tape look familiar?
  • 3 of 16: This tape was apparently made, at least in part, at JFK Airport on the 20th of September at 1:46.
  • 4 of 16: But what was that big zeppelin doing there, and why was it important?
  • 5 of 16: And what about that brief glimpse at the end of a blue screen with large numbers displayed on it?
  • 6 of 16: Don't worry about the zeppelins right now, but the numbers are important.
  • 7 of 16: First, you need to get them down.
  • 8 of 16: Either replay the videotape until you have all eight digits of both numbers written down, or just hit the PRINT SCREEN key (PRT SCR on some keyboards) to capture the image when the numbers are on the screen (and then paste the screen into some graphics program, like Microsoft Paint).
  • 9 of 16: Where have you seen numbers in that format before?
  • 10 of 16: Also, in case you missed it, the small green lettering above the numbers said "active sat."
  • 11 of 16: Maybe "sat." means satellite!
  • 12 of 16: Where can you go to see a satellite (or anything else celestial) by entering its coordinates?
  • 13 of 16: There should be something at SETI that can do that for you, so fly on back over there.
  • 14 of 16: Now who could help you learn more about these mysterious satellites?
  • 15 of 16: Why not ask Cypher? He was able to help you with the photo of Graham earlier.
  • 16 of 16: Show him either satellite photo to find out that they're communication satellites, and SETI is apparently being used to covertly monitor them. Now *that's* real conspiracy material!
