How do I open the door at the top of the yellow elevator?
1 of 11: It has a control unit that's similar to the elevator control units -- try the elevator code in it.
2 of 11: Unfortunately, that doesn't work, and you're fresh out of code clues.
3 of 11: Look at some of the stuff around the door.
4 of 11: There's a welded-shut "flap" that Peter deduces is high-voltage, and there are some high-voltage fuses nearby, too.
5 of 11: You can't do anything to those devices without the proper tools and safety equipment (which isn't available), but do they give you any ideas on how you might open the door?
6 of 11: What if you were to shut off the station's main power? It does have an emergency backup generator, but Graham's Sept. 12 diary entry says there's security holes in emergency power.
7 of 11: It's worth a try, so go see if you can find the main power switch.
8 of 11: It's carefully hidden and insulated underwater, so you'll need to figure out how to use the boat and go diving.
9 of 11: Boat on over to the pillar that has the "Caution! High Voltage!" sign that points down into the water.
10 of 11: Don the diving suit and click on the "diving" exit near the front of the boat to get down to where you can click on the switch box and flip the main power switch.
11 of 11: Now head on back up to that stubborn door to find that it's openable.
