What do I do with the pyramid?
1 of 20: Your goal is to retrieve the Giza disc from near the top of the pyramid.
2 of 20: First, you'll need to unlock the mechanism that's holding it.
3 of 20: Did you notice the small cobras along the bottom of the pyramid?
4 of 20: The secret to unlocking the mechanism is in pushing down on the cobras in a very specific order.
5 of 20: Look around for a clue to the solution.
6 of 20: Everything you'll need is within this room.
7 of 20: In fact, everything you'll need is within this pyramid.
8 of 20: Click on the front of the pyramid to open it; then move in for a close-up view.
9 of 20: The scroll contains all the clues needed.
10 of 20: Notice the pyramid diagram on the scroll -- each cobra pictured at the bottom of the pyramid is accompanied by a hieroglyphic symbol.
11 of 20: If you look at the scroll carefully, you'll see these four hieroglyphic symbols elsewhere.
12 of 20: The symbols repeat several times in the columns to the left.
13 of 20: The symbols on the left of the scroll will tell you what order you should press the cobras -- if you interpret the diagram correctly.
14 of 20: Starting in the top left corner, make note of every time that each symbol is pictured.
15 of 20: An easy way to make note of the correct order of symbols is to first number the cobra symbols by the pyramid from 1 to 4 (left to right). As each symbol is found on the left part of the scroll, simply mark down the number that corresponds to the correct cobra.
16 of 20: Make sure you read the columns from top to bottom, rather than from left to right.
17 of 20: Note that each column consists of two side-by-side symbols. The outer edges of the columns are marked with lines.
18 of 20: Read each column by starting at the top left symbol, then the symbol immediately to the right of the first symbol. After reading the two top symbols, move down a row to read the next two, etc..
19 of 20: When you reach the end of the first column, move to the next column to the right. Start at the top of the next column, and work down the same as before (in symbol pairs). Continue working through all the columns until the one on the far right is finished. WARNING: full solution follows.
20 of 20: When the cobras are numbered from left to right, the correct order is as follows: 1, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 4, 4, 3, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 1, 2, 2, 2.
