The Omega Stone Hints

General Information

  • "The Omega Stone" is an adventure-puzzle game.  You will need to explore as much as possible, look for potential puzzles to solve, and take careful notes.  This hint file will help you with puzzles you may encounter, but it may not always describe them in detail.  It is not intended as a "walk-through".

    Try everything that makes sense, then try things that don't.  Interaction with objects will often be dependent on some particular action that you may or may not have already done.  Certain events, or actions, may "trigger" other game interaction.  In other words, coming back to a specific location or  object later in the game may provide additional interaction that was not available at that earlier point.

    Be patient.  Explore.  "The Omega Stone" allows a fair amount of freedom of exploration within several different locations.  If one puzzle has you stumped, you may be able to explore further elsewhere, and move on to another.  However, progressing through the game often requires that certain puzzles be solved in a specific order.  Some puzzles will not even be "active" until you have solved a particular puzzle or picked up a specific object.  If you reach a point where you cannot think of another puzzle that needs solving, try looking around for something new to pick up or interact with, or search for other locations -- possibly even ones that are less obvious or hidden.
