The Omega Stone Hints

Inventory

• The inventory (i.e., items that you may have picked up and are carrying) in "The Omega Stone" is crucial to solving the various puzzles throughout the game.  Any items you are carrying will be stored in your inventory.  The inventory screen may be accessed by clicking the right mouse button and selecting the "Backpack" icon.
  
  The Omega Stone will not offer any clues as to when an on-screen object can be interacted with by using an inventory item.  You'll need to be on the look out for visual clues until you find an on-screen item that looks as though it could be opened or otherwise used.  When you find such an object, right-click; then choose the backpack to open the inventory menu.  From here, simply select an item from the inventory and bring it on-screen.  If you hold it over the object on-screen, and the cursor changes (to look like just the inventory item, without the pyramid symbol), then further interaction with the selected item is possible.  You can attempt to use it (by left-clicking) on the appropriate location of the screen.
  
  There is no limit to how many items you can hold at any one time.  At times the list of items can be quite long.  To speed up browsing through the items, click and hold the left mouse button until near the item you wish to see.  The items will scroll faster and faster, the longer the button is held down.
