Tomb Raider 2 Hints
How do I get through the area with a series of fans?
of 12: In case you haven't found this area, the following hints might help.
of 12: Basically, the only trick here is proper jumping.
of 12: That is, when you're on a ramp sliding toward a fan, jump and grab onto the ledge above the fan, before you get sucked in and killed by the blades.
of 12: Jumping forward won't always help you, though.
of 12: You may need to try some backflips to get from ledge to ledge if there's a fan just underneath the ledge that you're trying to jump to.
of 12: Turn your back to the fan and then jump backwards to get past those fans.
of 12: If these hints don't help, read ahead for a walkthrough of this section of the level.
of 12: Starting from the dressing room, slide down the first ramp and jump forward to the ledge with the Ornate Key.
of 12: Then, climb up the blocks above this ledge until you reach a ramp sliding down to another fan. Jump sideways onto the ramp, so you're facing this second fan, and then jump forward to get past that fan.
of 12: Go around the corner, and you'll see yet another fan just below a ledge above you. Turn your back to the fan, walk to the edge of the platform you're standing on, and then do a backflip.
of 12: Repeat to get past another fan.
of 12: You can then pull a movable box to reveal a switch that will open the door out of this area, back to the dressing room.
