How do I get out of the starting valley?
1 of 8: Look up.
2 of 8: Basically, all you need to do here is keep jumping and climbing up until you reach a building. Try to get a feel for how high and far Lara can jump and climb, and you should be able to work your way out of this section. But if you still need the help, read on for more detailed instructions.
3 of 8: Start by going into the water and then turn to your left just as you're entering the water. There should be a straight wall ahead of you.
4 of 8: Jump and grab, and you should be able to make your way to the ridge at the top of this wall. If not, try moving a bit to the left or right until you can find a spot that's at the right height.
5 of 8: From there, jump a bit to another ledge at about the same height and within jumping distance -- there should only be one such ledge. Then, make your way toward the sunlight.
6 of 8: The path should end when you run into a small cliff. Climb up this cliff, and then do a running jump off the edge, back in the direction you just came from. You should land on a ledge that is above the path you were just on.
7 of 8: From there, just keep climbing and/or jumping up as necessary until there is a building just in front of you.
8 of 8: You need to jump to your left (as you're facing the building) onto a block of a similar height. Then climb the wall as facing the building, and you'll be out of the valley.
