Tomb Raider 2 Hints

All of my weapons were taken!

  • 1 of 13: Unfortunately, you'll have to get past a couple of guards before you'll find your first weapon.
  • 2 of 13: It's stored inside the plane that you'll see as you're exiting the cell.
  • 3 of 13: You'll have to turn to your left as you're exiting the cell and run through the hallway where a couple of guards are waiting for you.  I recommending running up the ramp (and jumping out of the way of the barrel that will come past you) to get past the guards without taking too much damage.
  • 4 of 13: While this hallway may look like a dead-end, it's not.
  • 5 of 13: You'll have to go through the windows facing back out onto the water.
  • 6 of 13: Normally, I'd advise shooting out the windows yourself.  But without a gun, that's going to be difficult.
  • 7 of 13: On rare occasions, I've been able to get through windows by running and jumping at them, but this doesn't seem to work consistently.  If you can't get it to work, you may just have to take advantage of the only other gun that you can seem to find.
  • 8 of 13: That is, the gun of the guard chasing after you.
  • 9 of 13: Stand between him and the windows, and he'll eventually shoot out a window while aiming at you.  Go through this window.
  • 10 of 13: And turn and jump to your right.  A button there will open up a hole underwater, in the bottom of the plane.
  • 11 of 13: Climb through this hole to find another button in the plane.  This one will turn off the propellers.
  • 12 of 13: It should now be safe to jump onto the plane -- jump near the left engine of the plane (that is, the side that's on your right as you're facing the plane from the shot-out windows).  You can then climb up to the top of the plane. A trap door at the back of the plane will lead you to your pistol.
  • 13 of 13: You should continue to find weapons as you progress through this level.  But for now, the pistol should suffice.
