Tomb Raider 2 Hints

Where is the exit from this level?

  • 1 of 9: You first want to get past the door that requires the Red Pass Card to open. The exit will be in the large room just beyond the door.
  • 2 of 9: To be precise, the exit is beyond the two tanks of water.
  • 3 of 9: The only way that you can cross a tank is by swimming across it, as it's too deep to jump out of, and the only ladder in each tank leads back to the "start" of this room.
  • 4 of 9: The only problem is that you can only have one tank filled at a time -- when you fill one tank, you drain the water out of the other.  But you might as well start by working on filling that first tank.
  • 5 of 9: You might notice that the control room has exits on either side of the first tank.
  • 6 of 9: But the exit that puts you in between the first and second tanks is locked and requires a Green Pass Card to open.
  • 7 of 9: Once you have the pass card, use it to unlock the appropriate door and then flip the switch to fill the second of the two tanks.  Go through the door that you just opened, and go into the filled tank.
  • 8 of 9: There's a gate in this tank that's blocking the exit to the level.
  • 9 of 9: Just pull the switch underwater in the tank to open the gate.
