Tomb Raider 2 Hints
I'm in a room full of rocks. Where's the exit?
1 of 9: First, look for an opening in the floor of the first such room that you'll enter. Go through this (it may help to hang off the edge of the opening first, to lessen the impact of the fall into the room below) and enter yet another room full of rocks. The first step in reaching the exit is in this room.
2 of 9: Look for a box near an opening high up in one of the walls. You can move the box to just below the opening and climb on the box and jump into the opening.
3 of 9: Pull the switch in this small room to open a hatch in the top room of the pair. This will send all of the rocks falling from the room above into the one you're in now.
4 of 9: You can now climb the rocks in the room below to reach several openings that were previously unavailable to you.
5 of 9: In particular, there is a pair of openings in the ceiling on one edge of the wall. One leads back up to the first room that you were in (the one from which you dumped all of the rocks), and the other leads into a similar room.
6 of 9: To get to either room, jump up while facing the center of the room you're in.
7 of 9: There is one switch in each of the two rooms that you will want to pull. It takes some jumping from rock to rock within the room, but you should find the switches along an elevated opening that you can reach from the rocks.
8 of 9: The switch in the first room that you were in will open a door back at the bottom. The other switch will fill a pool in the room that can be reached from that door. Run along the rocks and then jump to go through that door.
9 of 9: To reach the exit, pull both switches and jump into the now-filled pool. An underwater passage will lead you to another rooms, where yet another switch opens the door that is the exit from this level.
