Tomb Raider 2 Hints

I'm at the start of the level, but all the paths seem to be dead ends.

  • 1 of 6: Unfortunately, there isn't a really good way to give hints to get you to the first real puzzles in this level.  Keep reading and I will provide a brief walkthrough of the start of this level.
  • 2 of 6: From the first room of the level, jump into the pool and go through the underwater passage.  This will take you to a room with a sloping floor.
  • 3 of 6: Slide down the sloping floor, and you'll fall a bit into a pit with an unstable bottom.  There's nothing you can do to keep the floor from falling out from underneath you.  You'll take a bit of damage and then end up in a room where a couple of guards will meet you.
  • 4 of 6: Kill the guards and then head into a room where you will find a movable box in one corner.  (There are only two exits from the large room where you first land from the pit above -- the only other exit is underwater.  Leave that one alone for now.)
  • 5 of 6: There will be one box that you can pull away from the corner.  Drag it into the dead-end hallway in this small room to get it out of the way.
  • 6 of 6: By doing so, you will find two additional boxes in the same corner.  Drag both of those out of the way, back to the same spot where you put the first box.  By doing so, you should reveal two additional hallways -- one leading to a game room with tables on the floor and the other leading to a two-story ballroom with a balcony along the outside edge of the room.
