Tomb Raider 2 Hints
There are several pits that I can't seem to get past.
1 of 4: First of all, if you haven't already gotten it, go back and get the snowmobile that you saw near the hut earlier in this level. If you don't have it, you won't be able to get past a lot of the obstacles on this level.
2 of 4: Most of the pits on this level fall into one of two categories. Some of them are just there to annoy you. You should be able to get past those just by staying to one side or the other, and if necessary, steering against a slope to keep from falling in.
3 of 4: The others must be jumped. In some cases, you will need to hold down ACTION to speed up your snowmobile enough to make the jump.
4 of 4: You will also need to make sure that you're jumping from the right place. In some sections of the level, there will be pits with uneven ground along the edges. Jumping from a high section onto a low section on the other sides is usually a good idea. If you can't make it, keep trying from other places. All of the pits can be gotten past one way or another.
