Is there any way to stop the monks from fighting me?
1 of 4: Yes.
2 of 4: Notice that when you first enter the level, the monks are more interested in fighting the men with guns.
3 of 4: As long as you don't do anything to turn them against you, they won't come after you; in fact, they'll help you by attacking the gunmen first.
4 of 4: But you have to be _very_ careful not to hit the monks. Even a single shot at one of them will turn the entire monastery against you for the rest of the level. I recommend that you not shoot anyone when the monks and gunmen are fighting, unless you have a very clear shot.
