How can I open the trapdoor in the main hall?
1 of 8: There's a lock right next to the door. Explore the rest of the monastery, and you should find an appropriately labelled key.
2 of 8: Go to the front of the main hall and go down the hallway to the right. The Trapdoor Key will be down at the end of the hallway.
3 of 8: You need to make your way past the traps there -- the Trapdoor Key is beyond all the traps.
4 of 8: There really isn't much of a trick to getting past the traps aside from timing.
5 of 8: The burners turn off when you approach them, but they will turn back on if you stand on them for too long.
6 of 8: You should run into the hole in the floor to bypass the swinging wheels.
7 of 8: And once you're pass the swinging wheels, I would recommend turning back and climbing onto the ledge _closer_ to the wheels you just bypassed. You'll be safe from the wheels if you're on the very edge of this ledge, and it's easier to get past the spinning blades if you're just jumping toward them, instead of climbing out of the pit in front of them.
8 of 8: The Trapdoor Key is in the first room past all of the traps. Use it on the lock near the trapdoor itself to unlock it.
