How can I open the yeti cages near the start of the level?
1 of 5: Have you tried stepping on the squares in the floor in the same room?
2 of 5: They are springboards -- they will send you shooting up very high.
3 of 5: See if you can get them to spring you anywhere interesting.
4 of 5: There is a set of two adjacent springboards near the passageway that leads to the two gates. Step onto these as you are heading toward the gates, and they will send you to within reach of a high ledge.
5 of 5: Grab the ledge, and you'll find a switch that opens the cages.
