How do I get the boat through the dark section of the canals?
1 of 9: You're looking for a waterfall.
2 of 9: You will want to go down the falls, to a lower section of the canals. Ride your boat down the falls, and then explore this lower section to see if you can find a way out.
3 of 9: You will need to find a way to get up again -- just to a different place than where you started out.
4 of 9: Look for a lock to lift your boat back to the top level. It will be in this section of the canals, in the corner opposite the falls.
5 of 9: A gunman will also be guarding the controls to the lock. Shoot through the window to kill him and find a room that has the control to the lock.
6 of 9: It's a switch that will raise the water level in a small area of the canals, just near a ladder that leads to a platform with nothing on it.
7 of 9: If you already flipped the switch and your boat wasn't in the lock, flip the switch back to lower the lock, and then park your boat in the lock. Then, raise the lock again, so the boat is carried up to the top level.
8 of 9: There was also a switch along the wall of the lock. It is above water when the lock is down and underwater when it is up.
9 of 9: When the lock is up, go underwater and flip the switch. This will open the doors out of this section of the canals, and you will be back in daylight again.
