How do I open the pair of gates blocking one of the canals?

  • 1 of 9: There are two switches elsewhere in the canals that will open those gates.
  • 2 of 9: One switch is behind the locked door off the dock near the minefield.
  • 3 of 9: The other is also close to the gates.
  • 4 of 9: You need to look up.
  • 5 of 9: Climb onto the dock adjacent to the gates -- that is, the dock that is one away from the dock that has the lock requiring the Iron Key.
  • 6 of 9: Take a look at the crates on this dock.
  • 7 of 9: You can use the crates to jump up to a walkway above the canals.
  • 8 of 9: Kill the guards here.  One of them has a Steel Key.
  • 9 of 9: Use the Steel Key to unlock a door on this upper level.  You will find the switch for the other gate behind that door.
