How do I get past the minefield?
1 of 8: The mines are only triggered by a speedboat, so you can swim past the mines on your own without any danger.
2 of 8: You'll probably find later on in the game that you'll need to get past the minefield in a boat, though.
3 of 8: There is no way to prevent the mines from exploding.
4 of 8: So maybe you should just set them off.
5 of 8: Notice that there are two speedboats in this level -- the one that you found back at the start of the level, and the one at a dock near the minefield.
6 of 8: You could afford to lose one of those.
7 of 8: Take one of the boats and send it at full speed (hold down the ACTION button) toward the minefield.
8 of 8: And jump out of the boat just before it reaches the minefield. The boat will explode, but the mines will also be gone. You can then take the other boat down what used to be the minefield.
