Tomb Raider 2 Hints
I've gotten through the main door, but I can't figure out where to go next!
of 20: Start by going down the hallway with the statues with swinging blades.
of 20: There's no real trick to getting past the statues, aside from timing.
of 20: That is, wait for each one to complete a swing and then run past it before it has a chance to hit you.
of 20: You'll find a lever past those statues. Pull it to open a door outside this building and above the canal.
of 20: You need to find a way to get into that door.
of 20: You can't jump out of the water to reach that door, so you're going to have to find other ways to go up.
of 20: You could stand on the wooden block in the main room and pull up to the ledge above ground level, but there's a stone block that's preventing you from grabbing hold of the ledge.
of 20: Take a look at the giant wedge-shaped block sitting in the middle of the main room here. That's the key to moving the stone block.
of 20: Use it to reach another part of the ledge, and then move the stone block out of the way.
of 20: Climb up the tall side of the wedge, then jump and grab onto the ledge.
of 20: If you jump while you're near the top of the wedge, you'll be too far from the ledge, and you won't reach it. But if you jump at the bottom of the wedge, you won't get the height you need. So try jumping while you're sliding down -- say, near the middle of the wedge.
of 20: Once you're on the ledge, you can move the stone block by pulling on it.
of 20: Go back to the wooden block that was below the former location of the stone block, and you can now pull up onto the ledge, on the opposite side of the stone block from where you were.
of 20: At this point, the path to that opening is just a matter of standard climbing and jumping. Read ahead if you need an explicit solution.
of 20: From the ledge you just climbed onto, jump across the room to another ledge at the same height. Then, climb the textured wall to go out the window and reach a balcony.
of 20: From this balcony, take a running jump over the canal to reach a red awning. Grab onto this awning.
of 20: You won't be able to stand on the awning for long, but you can still do some jumping for a bit.
of 20: Grab onto the awning and slide to the left, start to climb up, and before you fall off, do a backflip to land on a platform behind you.
of 20: Take a few more running jumps from platform to platform, until you reach an awning across the canal from the opening.
of 20: Jump onto this awning (you'll be able to stand on this one), and then jump off and grab onto the opening in front of you.
