Secrets

  • 1 of 9: There are 3 secrets on this level, for a possible total of 21 by the end of the level.
  • 2 of 9: 19) To the south of the start of the level.
  • 3 of 9: As you're first entering the level, turn south (left) and climb into a dark area.  You'll find a shotgun and some shells here.
  • 4 of 9: 20) Above the entrance to the level.
  • 5 of 9: Turn to the north (right) from the entrance.  You can climb up into a dark area, and then turn back to the southeast to jump and grab onto a higher block.  From there, jump again to the east to reach an area above the entrance, where you can find some medipacks and ammo.
  • 6 of 9: 21) Above some spikes about halfway into the level.
  • 7 of 9: Head to the part of the level where you can either jump over a gap in your jeep or go over that gap by crossing a bridge.  There is a crawlspace on the near side of the gap (as you're first approaching it).
  • 8 of 9: Get out of your jeep and then drop and grab onto the edge of the gap.  Climb down the wall (it acts like a ladder) and shimmy to the right until you're just underneath the crawlspace.  Note that the printed manual that ships with the PC version of game may be wrong -- you need to use the ALT/JUMP key and LEFT or RIGHT to get out of your jeep (once it's stationary), not the END key.
  • 9 of 9: You can only climb into the crawlspace when you're hanging from the edge, not when you're climbing the wall.  You need to briefly let go of the ACTION key and then press it again to get Lara to hang, with her feet dangling and not in climbing position.  Then, very quickly press the CRAWL and UP keys to get into the crawlspace before Lara gets ready to start climbing again.  You will find a medipack and some grenades.
