Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
Von Croy's chosen the path of the virtuous or heretical. What next?
1 of 12: Both paths are basically the same -- you only need to get through one room before proceeding to the next level. The real difference between the paths is actually in the next level, not this one.
2 of 12: Von Croy will instruct you to pull a lever to help him open the door out of the level.
3 of 12: The lever is at the top of the room.
4 of 12: You can't climb those steep slopes along the sides of the rooms.
5 of 12: But there is a crawlspace that you can get through to go higher.
6 of 12: Walk to the left (as you're facing the exit) until you reach the wall on that side. Then, turn back toward the entrance, and you'll see a gap.
7 of 12: Walk up to the gap, and press ACTION to grab onto that gap. Then press CRAWL and UP while holding ACTION to climb into the gap. Keep heading through the gap and out onto the ledge until the ledge ends.
8 of 12: You should now be facing a hanging rope. If you're on the easier path, you'll see a pool of water below the rope. If not, you'll just see hard stone.
9 of 12: Do a running jump onto the rope -- walk to the edge of the ledge, step back, then run forward and jump. Use ACTION to grab onto the rope, and then hold the SPRINT key (while holding ACTION) to make the rope swing back and forth. You can also turn left or right while holding onto the rope, and you can move up or down with the appropriate arrow keys.
10 of 12: Once the rope is swinging far enough, jump off the rope with the ACTION key to reach the ledge on the other side of the room. The rope moves the most if you swing while you're fairly low on the rope.
11 of 12: You can then pull the lever to open the door. You can just jump into the water on the easier path. Otherwise, either use the rope again to retrace your steps, or grab and fall off the ledge where you're standing. (The fall should be safe if you make sure to hold onto the edge first.)
12 of 12: Finally, head down the tunnel to finish the level.
