Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
I'm in a room above the map room. How do I get to the other side?
1 of 9: You need to cross the platforms at the entrance level (i.e., above ground level). Just watch out for the blades that will swing along the platforms in a few places.
2 of 9: You could take a couple of running jumps to cross the gaps, but you'll soon find a closed door that you can't get past.
3 of 9: There is something that will keep the door open temporarily.
4 of 9: Turn the wheel near the entrance to this room. You can only turn it from the side closer to the entrance -- Lara won't do anything with the wheel if she's on the other side.
5 of 9: The door will start to close shortly after you've opened it. Spinning the wheel a few turns will keep the door open longer, but it will still only stay open for a little bit.
6 of 9: Run across the platforms to the door. You'll need to be quick to reach it before it closes, even if you spun the wheel enough.
7 of 9: As you reach the door, you may need to dive and roll through it. That is, sprint toward the door and press the JUMP key while sprinting to roll underneath the closing door.
8 of 9: Or, if you sprint most of the way to the door, you might be able to get to it before you have to dive under it. Just remember to release the SPRINT key before you try jumping across any of the gaps -- or else you'll roll instead of jumping.
9 of 9: Then, keep heading to the pedestal, where you can pick up the Golden Vraeus. Watch out for the traps along the way and surrounding the pedestal.
