A note about these levels...

• All of the levels in Alexandria are fairly interconnected, but the game is still somewhat linear.  That is, you can sometimes (but not always) travel to the "next" level when you want, but you'll also find that there's not much to do in that level unless you brought certain items with you from earlier level(s).  Fortunately, there are always passages back to those earlier levels, so you won't get permanently stuck for leaving something behind.
  
  I've therefore included directions back to earlier levels and checklists telling you what you're supposed to get before moving on, in addition to the usual questions telling you how to advance levels.  You don't need to read these checklists to finish the game, and you may even prefer exploring on your own, but I have provided them just in case you'd rather avoid the trouble of backtracking or restoring.
  
  Also note that the total secret counts I give for each level assume a normal path through the game.  That is, I don't count backtracking if you finish a level but forget a few secrets, complete several "later" levels, and then return for the earlier secrets.  The number of secrets available in each level remains the same no matter when you find them -- the only difference is the order in which you may find them as you play through the game.
