Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints

I've slid down a ramp into a shooting gallery. How do I survive this room?

  • 1 of 5: As a word of warning before I get to the main hints, I'd recommend saving your game before going down the ramp, since it is possible to get permanently stuck here if you're missing some items.  If you didn't save, at least make sure not to overwrite a nearby previous save while you're in the gallery.
  • 2 of 5: Now back to the puzzle at hand -- take a look at the wall that will be in front of you once you've slid into the room (and landed on a flat platform that caught you on your way down).
  • 3 of 5: You'll need to act quickly before the platform falls down, possibly throwing you onto a set of active spike traps.
  • 4 of 5: Try shooting out all of the targets (three each on three different rows) before the platform falls.
  • 5 of 5: The way you're probably "supposed to" solve this is by aiming at each of the targets individually and shooting them.  You should probably try that method one or two times, just to make sure that you have all of the items that will come in handy on later levels and to practice some skills, but if you're having trouble, there is a shortcut that also works.
