How do I stop a large boulder tied to a rope from crushing me?
1 of 7: If you haven't found it already, you'll find this boulder in between you and the exit to the lower level of the Catacombs.
2 of 7: There are two different ways to solve this puzzle. Both can be solved with the items down in the same pit as the rock.
3 of 7: 1) Notice that the rock takes a while after you stand underneath it before it starts to roll.
4 of 7: Quickly step underneath the rock and jump to the side immediately. If you move in time, you can get out of the rock's path and avoid any damage.
5 of 7: 2) Notice that the rock is tied to a rope.
6 of 7: There's also a torch and an open flame near the rock.
7 of 7: Pick up the torch and use it on the open flame to light it (but be careful not to get too close to the flame). Then, jump up near the rope while holding the torch, and the rope will catch on fire. Stay near the rope and the rock will roll away harmlessly.
