Is there another path between the Catacombs and the Coastal Ruins?
1 of 3: Yes, but only if you've explored a fair portion of the Catacombs first.
2 of 3: After you got the second Trident that was north of the rope room, you may have climbed up a ladder behind the pedestal with that Trident.
3 of 3: If so, you could have also opened several gates leading from that part of the Catacombs to the Coastal Ruins. Those gates took you to a ramp that's on the north side of the coastal section of the Coastal Ruins. Open those gates with a crowbar to open another path between the two levels. (You will need to open the gate from the Catacombs side.)
