Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
Why is the floor near the entrance moving up and down?
of 8: Well, to be precise, only the floor in one room is -- that is, in the room to your right as you're entering the upper level (to the north).
of 8: There doesn't seem to be much you can do here, but keep in mind that there is more to the catacombs than just this section.
of 8: There's also a lower level.
of 8: You can reach it by going back to the Coastal Ruins and looking for a second entrance to this level.
of 8: There's only one room in the lower level of the catacombs, and it so happens to be just below the one with the shaking floor.
of 8: Try to find something down here than can stabilize it.
of 8: There's a column at the far end of the room.
of 8: Pull it back one square (so it's on top of the brown bit of floor), and your problem will be solved. You can now go back to the upper level and walk on that previously unsteady floor without any problems.
