How can I get rid of the spirit that appears before I go down the pit?
1 of 4: In theory, as with all spirits, you should be able to lead this one to a winged statue.
2 of 4: There was one near the very entrance of the level. Go down from the eastern corridor to the center of the pit, and turn to the right once you reach the center. The ladder back up to the top of the level will be to your right (on the wall to the east).
3 of 4: However, I found that the spirit didn't want to rest in this particular statue, no matter how long I waited near it and how many medipacks I used.
4 of 4: If this happens to you, your best option is probably to save the eastern statue for last. You will come to two more spirits a bit later in the level, and you can get rid of this spirit at the same time as the other two.
