Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
How do I get past the rotating blades surrounding a few poles?
1 of 6: You'll find these blades if you go through the north-central doors on the first level of the main room.
2 of 6: Pay careful attention to the timing of the blades.
3 of 6: Notice that they're a little bit farther from the pole when they're in the corners of the openings than they are when they're in the middle of those openings.. If you inch to just near the blade and then slide down at the right time you can escape any damage. You can also minimize (but not eliminate) damage by timing your climbs up carefully.
4 of 6: You can also try to bypass the pole entirely.
5 of 6: That is, drop down and grab the edge of the opening. Then, drop a bit, grab the edge of the next opening, and so on. Of course, in this case, wait until the blade is on the side that's completely opposite from where you want to drop. You may also want to try jumping up and grabbing a side rather than climbing a pole.
6 of 6: Note that if you want to pick up some of the items in the urns while sliding down the first pole, you need to slide down as far as you can without hitting the next blade before jumping. Otherwise, Lara will hit her head on the very low ceilings and fall all the way to the bottom.
