How do I open the gate in the pool in the gear rooms?
1 of 9: If you haven't found that pool or the gear rooms, this hint may help.
2 of 9: The controls to that gate are located in another part of this general area.
3 of 9: Go back to the first gear room (where you found a Golden Star on the wall) and look up.
4 of 9: There's a second level to this room. Look for a ladder to your left as you're facing the Golden Star (i.e., on the south side of that platform).
5 of 9: Climb the ladder and go down the hallway at the top of this platform. And pay attention to the locked gate that's to your left (south) as you're entering the next room.
6 of 9: Then, keep heading to the left and go down a ladder. Once you're at the bottom of the ladder, go through a crawlspace -- this will lead to a room with a mechanical horseman.
