How do I solve the serpent puzzle?
1 of 11: You may have found a scroll in the room through the northwest doors back in main "lobby" with all the other doors. If it wasn't there (or if it was was semi-transparent), go back and try to find it again after playing with this puzzle.
2 of 11: The scroll basically tells you what you need to do.
3 of 11: You need to get all of the serpents lit.
4 of 11: By walking around the ring.
5 of 11: And pressing the levers on the serpents.
6 of 11: Every time you press a lever, three of the serpents will turn on or off. The one whose lever you're pressing and the two across the circle are the serpents affected.
7 of 11: Each serpent is therefore controlled by three different levers.
8 of 11: And flipping each of those three levers will turn the serpent on, off, and then on again.
9 of 11: So walk around the circle and press the lever on each serpent exactly once.
10 of 11: If this doesn't work, you probably had already pressed one of the levers. Step on the slightly raised stone showing a diagram of the room to turn all of the serpents off, and try again.
11 of 11: When all of the serpents are lit, you can climb up the blocks in the center of the room and through a hole in the ceiling to the second floor.
