Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
I've fallen into a room with two giant lions' heads. How do I get out?
of 10: This room (which is on the second floor through the southwestern door) basically involves your usual sorts of platform jumping and lever pulling. Read ahead for a step by step solution.
of 10: Start by turning to the left as you've fallen out of the first lion's head to get out of the way of a ball rolling toward you. (Or you can skip this step if you went for the secret.)
of 10: Then, go up the ramp that the ball came from and do a standing jump ahead and to your left to grab and pull a switch on the wall.
of 10: This switch will raise a block in the center of the room. You can climb it and then do a running jump to an opening to the south.
of 10: Keep climbing from here until you're looking back over the room and can see the second lion's head to the north.
of 10: A very careful running jump will get you to the top of that head. But I recommend saving first.
of 10: You need to be pointed due north and then aim for a slight slope on the lion's forehead, just to the left of the perfectly flat part. The perfectly flat part is too far for you to reach from here, and even then, it's possible that you'll end up short of the slight slope if you're not careful. (If you do end up short, you'll start sliding down a much steeper slope, and you'll have to try again. I found that continuing to run forward *briefly* after landing helped.)
of 10: Then, turn to your right and pull the chain here. This will cause the lion to open its mouth slightly.
of 10: Now, you can slide down that steeper slope on the side of the lion's nose (north or south of your initial landing position). You can then grab onto the side of the lion's mouth and crawl into the mouth from the front. I didn't have any luck climbing in from the front.
of 10: Once you're out of the mouth, climb up the pole and proceed through either of the gates that will open for you.
