Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints

Is there anything I can do about the beetles crawling around this level?

  • 1 of 5: First of all, you should note that you are supposed to get the Black Beetle objects from the walls around the Temple.  It's the living, crawling kind of bugs that you want to avoid.
  • 2 of 5: Unfortunately, if you're in the area south of the main entrance room, where the door closes behind you as you enter, there's nothing that you can do but to try to avoid them and eventually find your way out from this area.  Just before you leave this area, you'll end up climbing up a high enough jump that the beetles can't follow you any more.
  • 3 of 5: If you're getting attacked by the beetles near the black pyramid, you may be able to avoid them.
  • 4 of 5: Take only the whole Black Beetles, and not the broken ones, and no living beetles seem to come from the walls.
  • 5 of 5: If, for some reason, you do have beetles coming at you, you will need to visit and return from all three pools.  The beetles seem to vanish magically once you're leaving the third pool.
