What can I do about the bulls at the start of the level?

  • 1 of 9: Each of the bulls will awaken when you walk in front of it.  Although you could just leave the bulls alone by staying far away from them, I've heard reports that doing so may trigger bugs later in this level.  I therefore recommend that you wake up each of the bulls one at a time, just in case.
  • 2 of 9: There are two cages in this room, immediately near the level entrance and to the west and right.
  • 3 of 9: There are switches just outside those cages that open and close the doors to the cages.
  • 4 of 9: You want to get the bulls to run into the cages and then pull the appropriate switch to lock the bull in the cage.
  • 5 of 9: You probably remember that the bulls will charge you if you stand around in one place for a while.
  • 6 of 9: You can get a bull to charge into a cage if you go in yourself, but then you wouldn't have the time to get out and pull the switch before the bull could follow you out.
  • 7 of 9: Also remember that the bulls can't stop as quickly as you can.
  • 8 of 9: Stand in front of an open cage door, perhaps even a bit to one side of the door.
  • 9 of 9: Eventually, the bull will charge right through the door and stop inside the cage.  Quickly head to the switch and close the cage before the bull gets out.  Repeat with the second bull and second cage to get the bulls out of the way.
