What should I do in the area behind the northwestern gate?
1 of 8: You'll be able to enter a few crawlspaces once you get across a few pits just past the gate.
2 of 8: It will help if you light a flare before entering the crawlspaces. Or, if you are in the crawlspaces and Lara says "no" when you try to light a flare, first try drawing your weapons -- Lara seems more willing to light a flare then.
3 of 8: Note that there are three crawlspaces past the pits, to the north, east, and south.
4 of 8: The crawlspace to the north has the green Stone of Khepri.
5 of 8: Be sure to watch out for the collapsing floors and stick to the solid ground.
6 of 8: Keep turning left whenever you can, and you'll find the Stone of Khepri. Return with a series of right turns.
7 of 8: The space to the south has the switch that opens the gate back out of this area.
8 of 8: Start by taking the first left turn, then the first right turn after that, followed by another left, right, and left. You'll find the switch at the end of the crawlspace and can exit with another set of alternating turns (starting with a right turn).
