Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
What should I do in the area behind the far eastern gate?
1 of 4: Jump across the pit that's immediately past the gate (a single correctly placed running jump is good enough) and take a look at the holes in the wall immediately past that.
2 of 4: A couple of those holes have things you need, but the rest will just send out some of those annoying deadly scarab beetles. I wasn't able to find any logic to this puzzle -- either save first and restore once you know the solution, or put up with the beetles and use medipacks as needed until you can get out of this area again.
3 of 4: Look to the east wall (straight ahead as you're coming from the gate) and reach into the center of the three holes. That one contains the blue Stone of Re.
4 of 4: Then, look to the north wall (to your left as you're coming from the gate) and reach into the hole on the right. This will open the gate back to the center area.
