What should I do once I reach the rope swings underground?
1 of 6: There will be three rope swings, one immediately after you've gone through the trap door that you opened by shooting out the star above, and two more on the other end of that one. The usual method will let you get across the spike pits below the rope swings. That is, run and jump to grab onto the rope, slide down as far as you can, and then "SPRINT" to make the rope swing as far as it will go before you jump off.
2 of 6: Note that the two spike pits past the first one each have two rope swings on them. If you align and time everything perfectly, you can cross a pit by swinging only on the first rope and jumping off. Or if you need to, you can jump from the first rope to the second and then to the far side of the pit.
3 of 6: You will first want to go across the pit on the right of that pair (that is, the pit on the north).
4 of 6: Head all the way across and up the ramp to find a switch that opens a trap door on the far end of the pit to the south.
5 of 6: Then, swing back across the northern pit, swing over the southern pit, and climb through the trap door there.
6 of 6: You'll need to fight off a bit of a nasty guard here, but once you get rid of him, you can take the Western Shaft Key off the far western wall (use your crowbar) to open a door leading out of the pyramid.
