Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Hints
How do I make my way through this level?
1 of 18: This level tends to be fairly linear. There are a few intersections where you can turn one way or another, but for the most part, these intersections don't lead very far -- often just to areas with little more than some extra ammunition or medipacks. Solve puzzles along the way, and you should eventually be able to find your way down twisty passages and across pits to the end of the level.
2 of 18: If you need a rough walkthrough through this level, read ahead. The walkthrough will just point out the major features -- the solutions to the actual puzzles are contained in separate hints.
3 of 18: 1) Head to your left as you're entering (to the north) and pick up the Jerrycan near the gas pumps. Then proceed to the building near the pumps (to the east), open the door, and then open the trap door of the floor inside to reach an underground passage.
4 of 18: 2) Follow this underground passage until you reach a 3-way intersection. You'll come from the northern branch -- turn down the eastern branch to find a room with 3 lions' heads.
5 of 18: After you've done what you need to with the heads on the wall, you'll open a door to a "closet" containing a few mummies and the Small Waterskin.
6 of 18: 3) Return to the intersection and head south this time. Follow the path until it takes you outside.
7 of 18: Then, jump across the pit to the northeast to reach another building with a "Danger" sign on it. Go inside and return underground.
8 of 18: 4) When you reach the next intersection (coming from the south), head to the east to find a room with three more lions' heads. This room contains a Bag of Sand.
9 of 18: 5) Go back to the intersection and head north this time. You'll soon come to a second 3-way intersection, again from the south. Turn west to pick up a few items, head back to the intersection, and then take the north fork this time. You'll reach another opening taking you above ground again.
10 of 18: 6) Go through the "Danger" sign to get out of the building, and jump across the pit, taking two jumps to the northeast to find another building to the north. Once again, head underground through the opening in the floor.
11 of 18: 7) You will reach an intersection underground, coming from the north. The room to the east has three more lions' heads. Use them to get into a room with three scales.
12 of 18: 8) Use the scales to open a door to the west. Go through that door and use your crowbar to get the Northern Shaft Key and open a door east of the scales.
13 of 18: 9) The lions' heads in the next room don't appear to do anything, but shoot them out if you'd like. From there, proceed up the stairs and go west at the next intersection (you're coming from the east) to get outside.
14 of 18: 10) Once outside, jump to the east on the north side of the next pit you'll find, and then jump again to the south. Turn right (to the west) to go in another building, and go underground again.
15 of 18: 11) You will reach yet another intersection, coming from the west. Go east to get to another trap door, go outside, and then go north to find another "Danger" door. Go through that and down yet again.
16 of 18: 12) Once underground, find another intersection, as you're coming from the north. Turn east there to find another lions' head room. I think you can ignore these lions' heads and then head north to find a room with three stone monkeys.
