How do I make 4 liters?
1 of 7: You need to find a way to take exactly 1 liter out of a large waterskin.
2 of 7: So think of a way of getting exactly 2 liters into a small waterskin.
3 of 7: And you should know how to make 2 liters from the previous puzzle.
4 of 7: Read ahead for the solution.
5 of 7: Start by emptying the small waterskin and filling the large one. Then, pour the large waterskin into the small one -- you'll then have 3 liters in the small waterskin and 2 in the large one.
6 of 7: Empty the small waterskin and then pour the 2 liters from the large one to the small one.
7 of 7: Now, you can fill the large waterskin again and then combine it with the small one. This will fill the small waterskin, and leave just 4 liters in the large waterskin. You can use the large waterskin on the scale to get out of this room.
