How do I get the Scarab Talisman?

  • 1 of 7: Get the Scarab Talisman by turning onto a bridge about halfway up the ramp and following the path at the end of that bridge.  You should eventually reach a "round" room.  Well, it actually looks more octagonal than rounded, because the engine doesn't do curved surfaces.
  • 2 of 7: The Scarab Talisman is on the far end of the room from the entrance (to the south), on a platform about halfway up the wall and initially guarded by spikes.
  • 3 of 7: While this "round" room can be deadly and even a bit confusing, there's really only one thing you can do at any given time.  If you're patient and keep plugging forward, you may be able to find your way through the room. But if you still need help, read ahead for a solution.
  • 4 of 7: The first thing you need to do is pull a lever on the top of the left side of the room (as you're facing the Scarab Talisman).
  • 5 of 7: Once you've pulled that lever, go through the door that the lever opened, and look for the Hand of Sirius.
  • 6 of 7: After you have the Hand of Sirius, you need to pull a chain that will rotate the room back to its original orientation.
  • 7 of 7: Finally, you need to make your way back into the main part of the room and use the Hand of Sirius to create a path to the Scarab Talisman.
