How can I open the iron gate at the north end of the valley?

  • 1 of 15: First, you must shear the ram.
  • 2 of 15: After you do, click the eye cursor on the ram to get the next part of your map and enigma.
  • 3 of 15: That'll cause the gate's control puzzle to become active.
  • 4 of 15: Go check it out to find that it consists of four sabers with numbers marked on them.
  • 5 of 15: You can pull the sabers up to various numerical settings.
  • 6 of 15: Check the first few lines of your new enigma for a clue as to what four numbers to set this odd combination lock to.
  • 7 of 15: It quotes a Bible text, then says there's a number in the verse that has to do with the "saber-ruled door."
  • 8 of 15: Do you have anything else in inventory that has something Biblical written on it?
  • 9 of 15: The next lines of the enigma mention your black spot.
  • 10 of 15: Have you ever picked it up in inventory and read its entire description?
  • 11 of 15: It has a couple of verses from the book of Revelation on it.
  • 12 of 15: The one marked "(22:15)" is the same as the one that's on the enigma.
  • 13 of 15: Maybe the four digits in the chapter and verse number can be used to open the gate.
  • 14 of 15: Set the sabers to 2, 2, 1, and 5 in left-to-right order.
  • 15 of 15: As soon as they're all set, the gate will open.
