How can I get Pepita out of the shaft she falls into?

  • 1 of 16: You'll have to rig some way to haul her up out of the shaft.
  • 2 of 16: Look around at the various equipment set up near the shaft.
  • 3 of 16: There's a wooden structure directly over the shaft, plus a very sturdy-looking circular post nearby.
  • 4 of 16: The metal top of the post is interactive, and seems to have some slots in it. Also, the block hanging from the wooden structure can be taken.
  • 5 of 16: You're going to need to set up a block-and-tackle type of pulley system to haul Pepita out of the shaft.
  • 6 of 16: To start with, you're going to need two blocks.
  • 7 of 16: You'll then need to connect the two blocks with some long rope.
  • 8 of 16: Assembling the two blocks and long rope will create your tackle device, so get it hooked up.
  • 9 of 16: Use it on the wooden structure's interactive spot, which is where you took the first block from.
  • 10 of 16: Doing so will bring up another knot-tying puzzle.
  • 11 of 16: Take the bottom choice on the only one you're given a choice on.
  • 12 of 16: After that's hooked up, you'll need to tie a short rope onto the lower block for Pepita to hold on to.
  • 13 of 16: You'll find the rope you need in the same box you got the wheel and axle out of.
  • 14 of 16: Get it and use it on the lower block to bring up yet another knot-tying puzzle.
  • 15 of 16: Take the top, bottom, and then bottom options on the three knot-tying choices.
  • 16 of 16: Now everything's ready except for a way to turn the post with the metal top that your rope is tied to.
