Destination: Treasure Island Hints
How can I solve the treasure chest's puzzle once it's fixed up?
1 of 10: Check the last few lines of the enigma for a vague clue as to what you're trying to do with the puzzle.
2 of 10: What it's sort of trying to tell you is that you need to reflect one of the bright white beams of light onto the blue-ish button-like thing that's along the left edge of the puzzle board.
3 of 10: And according to the enigma, the beam needs to bounce off one of the skull's eyes.
4 of 10: To get a beam to an eye, you'll need to use the two little carriages and their adjustable mirrors.
5 of 10: Use the little buttons along the front edge of the chest (to the right of the track switch) to move the two carriages around.
6 of 10: Use the track switch when you want to switch which carriage you're moving.
7 of 10: Try various carriage positions to see how you can reflect a beam from the left carriage to the right carriage, and then into the skull's glass eye.
