Destination: Treasure Island Hints
How can I get the cannon aimed at the ship?
of 15: It's currently pointed at the ceiling, so that's the first thing to take care of.
of 15: Notice that there's an interactive hole on the left side of the cannon's crossbar.
of 15: You need to stick a lever gimmick into that hole so you can adjust the cannon's angle.
of 15: What handy lever do you have that you've used before?
of 15: The handspike that's part of the pick should do it.
of 15: Disassemble the pick again to get the handspike, then use it on the cannon's crossbar hole.
of 15: Now you can click on the handspike to aim the cannon toward the window.
of 15: Of course, the window is still closed. That's the next problem to solve.
of 15: Notice that there's a block-and-tackle setup attached to the cannon's left side, but not its right side.
of 15: You'll need to get one attached to the right side before you can move the cannon and open the window.
of 15: You had a tackle setup awhile ago. Do you remember where you used it?
of 15: It was needed in rescuing Pepita from the mine shaft.
of 15: Go back there and reclaim your tackle if you haven't yet.
of 15: Return to the fort and use the tackle on the hook that's on the right side of the cannon.
of 15: Now you can click on the spot on the floor where the two tackle sections are connected to move the cannon into position for firing.
