How can I add a compass to this device?
1 of 7: Notice that there's a large interactive hole in the center of the circular inscription that you had to clean off.
2 of 7: If you click on the hole, you'll learn that it used to contain water.
3 of 7: So go get some water to put in it.
4 of 7: Use your empty helmet to scoop up some water from the large pool near the idol, the stream next to Skull Rock, or wherever -- it doesn't matter where you get it from.
5 of 7: Go use your helmet of water on the puzzle device's hole to fill it, then start thinking about a way to make it into a compass.
6 of 7: You probably know that all crude compasses use magnetic needles, so the next thing to do is get one of those.
