How can I find the answer to the first question?

  • 1 of 15: It asks how many days there are from south to white north.
  • 2 of 15: The "white" part just helps to confirm that your compass needle is indeed pointing north.
  • 3 of 15: Since the white section that the needle is pointing to is north, then south is the yellow section that's directly across the circle from it.
  • 4 of 15: Now you know what calendar symbol and what number are associated with the two days that correspond to north and south.
  • 5 of 15: So count how many days are in between them.
  • 6 of 15: But don't just count the symbol sections on the circle between the north and south symbols.
  • 7 of 15: The first time you click the eye cursor on the cleaned-off inscription, Long John will tell you that the days aren't represented chronologically on it. That's why you can't just count along the circle.
  • 8 of 15: That's where the two rotating calendar disks come in.
  • 9 of 15: You can set the disks like you did before by clicking and holding on a disk, then moving the mouse around.
  • 10 of 15: Since you're supposed to count from south to north, set the disks to show the symbol and number that's on the inscription's south section.
  • 11 of 15: The correct symbol for the left disk can be hard to find. Look for the eye-shaped "north" symbol, and you'll find the one you want next to it.
  • 12 of 15: When the disks are aligned, start pressing the large button that's below the point where the two disks meet.
  • 13 of 15: Count how many times you have to press it to get the disks to align on the symbol and number that are associated with north.
  • 14 of 15: It'll turn out to take 39 button presses.
  • 15 of 15: Since each button press advances the calendar by one day, that means there are 39 days between south and white north.
